Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Lelantos ("the Service"), operated by Omika ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

Lelantos provides on-demand isolated compute environments (sandboxes) via API. Each sandbox runs as a Firecracker microVM with hardware-level isolation. The Service includes a REST API, SDKs, a web dashboard, and related infrastructure.

3. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address and verify it to access the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys. You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account.

You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Mine cryptocurrency or perform resource-intensive computation unrelated to sandbox purposes
  • Send spam, phishing, or unsolicited communications
  • Host, distribute, or facilitate illegal content or activities
  • Attack, scan, or probe other systems or networks
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, quotas, or access controls
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
  • Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

5. Billing and Credits

The Service uses a credit-based billing model. Sandbox usage is charged per second while running. Credits are purchased through our dashboard via Stripe. All purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by applicable law.

New accounts receive a one-time signup bonus. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice. Running sandboxes that exhaust your credit balance may be terminated.

6. Service Availability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee any specific uptime or service level agreement (SLA). We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all code, data, and content you upload to or create within sandboxes. We retain all rights to the Service, its software, infrastructure, and documentation.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Sandbox environments are ephemeral. We do not guarantee persistence of data within sandboxes beyond their configured lifetime.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms, extended inactivity, or for any reason with reasonable notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Remaining credits are non-refundable unless required by law.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these terms.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or dashboard notification at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Denmark and the European Union. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Copenhagen, Denmark, unless mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
